At Chelmsford City Racecourse, charity is at the heart of everything we do
Throughout the year, we proudly host a wide range of events — from exciting racedays to meaningful community gatherings — all in support of incredible causes. As we celebrate our 10-year anniversary in 2025, we’re dedicating each month to a different charity, shining a spotlight on organisations such as the RDA and Dementia UK.
Our calendar is filled with heartfelt and inclusive events, such as our Time for Tea day, where we welcome dementia patients to enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the racecourse, complete with tea, cake, and good company. On July 1st, during our celebrated Queen Charlotte Stakes raceday, we’ll also be opening our gates to children with autism, offering a safe and welcoming environment to experience the thrill of racing.
One of our proudest moments each year is our award-winning Remembrance Raceday, where we honour our veterans and fallen heroes. Veterans are invited to attend for free, joining us in a touching tribute to those who served.
