Summer is a time for socialising, days out with friends and family, and making memories that last long after the long sunny days have ended. During the summer Chelmsford City Racecourse is a destination for excitement, a theatre of entertainment and a venue for enjoyment for everyone. Our summer racing fixtures include thrilling racing, plus entertainment in our brand NEW Level Head sunken terrace that will keep you busy late into the evening. 

We are proud to be supporting Carers Week and helping call for greater equality for unpaid carers.  

Coming together to celebrate everything that makes our communities great, also marking Racing Together Community Day and the Eden Project ‘Month of Community’ we are inviting local unpaid carers of adults (over 18) to apply for 2 complimentary general admission tickets to enjoy an evening of racing at Chelmsford City Racecourse. This is for unpaid carers to visit the racecourse with a friend or relative without their adult dependants for some well-deserved respite.
