Remembrance Day Evening Racing

Online tickets are now off-sale. General Admission tickets can be purchased on the gate.

We are delighted to be partnering with the Royal British Legion for a special afternoon and evening of racing under the floodlights on Remembrance Day 2023.

Schedule subject to change, due to race times changing:

• 3:00pm – Gates Open
• 3:00pm – 3:50pm- Military band
• 3:50pm – Majorette & Twirling Union
• 4:00pm – Wreath Laying Ceremony featuring Standard Bearers and guest of honour The Mayor of Chelmsford and her Consort
• 4:25pm – Majorette & Twirling Union
• 4:30pm-5:00pm – The Wimbish Military Wives Choir
• 5:00pm – First race
• 6:30pm- 7:00pm – The Wimbish Military Wives Choir
• 7:30pm – 8:00pm – The Wimbish Military Wives Choir
• 8:30pm – Last race 

All profits from General Admission ticket sales will be donated to the Royal British Legion. 

Serving members of the Armed Forces and veterans will be able to apply for a pair of complimentary General Admission tickets, under 18s attend for free when accompanied by an adult ticket holder. To apply for a ticket contact info@chelmsfordcityracecourse.com 

On the day there will be a wreath-laying ceremony, a traditional bugle fanfare of The Last Post. The Royal British Legion will be operating a bucket collection should you choose to donate.
