Chelmsford City Racecourse Recognised Amongst Britain’s Best for Customer Experience
Chelmsford City Racecourse is delighted to announce its inclusion among Britain’s highest-rated racecourses for customer experience in the 2024 Quality Assured Racecourse Scheme (QARS), as confirmed by The AA.
The annual QARS assessment, conducted on behalf of the Racecourse Association (RCA), evaluates all aspects of the raceday experience, and this year’s results highlight a continued upward trend in standards across British racecourses. Chelmsford City Racecourse achieved a remarkable score of 91%, placing it among the top-rated venues in the country.
As part of the scheme, The AA assessors make unannounced visits, reviewing extensive criteria of the raceday experience, including customer service, hospitality, cleanliness, and overall enjoyment. This year’s national average score of 84.8% marks an increase from 81.6% in 2023, demonstrating the industry’s commitment to excellence.
Additionally, Chelmsford City Racecourse was awarded the prestigious RCA Excellence Accolades for ‘Warmest Welcome’ and ‘Spotless & Sparkling’, reflecting the team’s dedication to creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional and memorable day at the races.
