Chelmsford City Racecourse Partners with Racing Together for Autism in Racing

Chelmsford City Racecourse proudly partners with Racing Together, Immersive Interactive and POP Essex to bring ‘Autism in Racing’ day for children in the local community by offering them complimentary tickets to attend racing with their family for an immersive interactive experience, followed by some exciting racing on Tuesday 8^th August.

Children will be able to experience a supervised state of the art sensory room before enjoying some exciting racing and play activities in a private area. Which is all located in a prime position to view the horses in the Parade Ring before each race begins. 

We are pleased to announce the return of the Shetland Pony race prior to the first race. This is going to be a fantastic and exciting day out for all the family to enjoy.

We are beyond proud as a racecourse to offer such exciting experiences for families and being able to introduce children with autism to racing, meanwhile continuing our ongoing commitment to engage with the local community.
