This prestigious event, has become a highlight of our racing calendar, drawing thousands of racegoers.
The Queen Charlotte Stakes, royally approved by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, is Great Britain’s most valuable listed flat race. The Queen Charlotte Stakes not only celebrates the finest female thoroughbreds but also showcases the rich heritage of horse racing. With £100,000 of prize money for this prestigious Listed race, and a card worth £250,000 you can be sure of excitement and entertainment.

Autism in Racing
Supporting local children with autism, and as part of our ’10 Years of Community’ we are offering families affected by autism complimentary tickets to enjoy a day at the races in a safe environment.
Partnering with POP Essex, a fantastic local charity who provide ‘SEND’ stay & play and respite sessions for families, our exclusive autism friendly play zone includes areas with sensory activities, soft play, and private terrace to watch the racing.
Please note that tickets for ‘Autism in Racing’ must be pre-booked in advance, will not be available on the day and are subject to availability. Our general admission tickets in most cases provide you with access to the racecourse grounds including the Grandstand and Sports Bar. These areas allow for a casual dress code. However, the racecourse does request that standards are maintained.
We kindly request that you do not wear the following:
• Beach flip flops or backless sandals/shoes*
• Team shirts
• Vests and bare tops
• Swimwear
*Please note that these are not recommended due to the nature of our site and health and safety. If you do wear these it will be at your own risk.
When dining in the Fairwood Brasserie Restaurant, all general admission standards apply with the addition that we ask that you do not wear any form of shorts or trainers.
