Chelmsford City Racecourse offers exceptional venues for private raceday entertaining, combining the thrill of horseracing with exclusive hospitality.

Our packages are completely adaptable, and we offer a wide selection of menus from a buffet dining to a 5 course tasting menu and everything in between.

All packages include:
• Private use of your event space
• Private terrace with parasols
• Private betting facilities within your space
• Televisions throughout the space to ensure no-one misses the action
• Admission to the racecourse
• Access to all areas of the site, including premium viewing from the Home Straight Terrace and Parade Ring (excludes entry to the grandstand restaurants)

Guests can expect to enjoy the privacy of their own luxury marquees, fully equipped with built in kitchen facilities, bar, toilets and a breathtaking terrace to take in all the action. With the option to also enjoy the remainder of our picturesque grounds, there is something for everyone.

Do you have a minimum number of guests required for a private area on a raceday?

Yes, we can offer private areas for groups of 100+ guests. If your group is smaller than 100, please get in touch with our events team for your options.

Do you offer disabled access / accessible facilties?

Yes, all of our spaces are fully accessible and we have disabled toilets available in both internal and external areas on-site.

Will we see the horses and racing live or just on the screens in the space?

Yes, you and your guests will have full site access and can watch all of the action from trackside. In addition to this, our Queen Charlotte Marquee features a large private wraparound trackside terrace for you and your guests to enjoy the racing.

Is the space private for me and my guests?

Yes, when hiring one of our marquees on a raceday this is exclusive for you and your guests.

Does raceday entertaining include any evening concert or entertainment?

To hire a marquee on a concert day please discuss this with our events team regarding availability. When we hold entertainment after racing this would be included in your package for you to enjoy.
